Man shot while standing on Escondido street
The suspect walked up to the parked vehicle in the vicinity of 11th Avenue and Redwood Street at around 5 p.m. on Saturday and opened fire on the victim, identified by police as Nestor Bulle of Escondido, according to an Escondido police statement.

Escondido to get "Warfighter Academy"
